 When this column appears online, it is the last day of April and the eve of the merry month of May.  The mere mention of a new continuance brings us hope and dreams of better days ahead, no more dreaded pisting veerus, from new normal to real deal and time, people going out of their cocoons and enjoying life, not just existing in subservience and fearful of the maddening predicament we are all in.

Thus I cannot help but wonder, how gungho and excited are we to witness the traditional and annual Flores de Mayo and Santacruzan with the presence of dashing consortes donned in their finest barong Tagalog and lovely sagalas, glamourized all over in ternos, with faces plastered with the patented Bayanihan smiles, not minding the stifling heat, paglalapot of their faces covered with water proof make up and all the people gawking at them?

At dahil kadalasan ang pagrampa ng mga sagala at konsorte ang highlight sa isang fiesta selebrasyon, hindi na ako nagtataka kung bakit ang sangkabaklaan, happy fiesta ang feeling dahil nga back with a vengeance ang mga mapangahas na eksena nina Kokoy  De Santos at Royce Cabrera mula sa Eduardo Roy Jr.’s “Fuccbois” na mapapanood sa isang popular na social media site, pinagpapasa-pasahan sa bilang personal na mensahe at lantad na lantad ang kanilang hubad na katotohanan sa isang pangmalakasang pink portal.

Mahuhusay na artista sina De Santos at Cabrera dahil sobrang realistic ang sexual congress scenes na kanilang pinagsaluhan na may special participation pa nga ni Ricky Davao na sa pelikula ni direk Roy, eh mayor na landing lubog na ang hobby, ay makipag-sex sa nubile men mula sa bikini open industry at ibidyo ang mga ito habang mainit na nagtatalik.

Sa mga pinanood ang “Fuccbois” sa Cinemalaya noong Agosto, isang unforgettable cinematic experience ang pelikula hindi lang dahil nga parang sobrang makatotohanan ang yariang nagaganap sa mga character nina De Santos at Cabrera kasama si Davao. Mas nangibabaw na isa itong morality at cautionary tale that mirrored the changing mores of the youth, na ang iba ang hangad ay instant gratification and that fame whoring, ang possible outcome ay disaster or tragedy at ang katotohanan na even the most learned of men, power and the lust for flesh triggered by ones loins corrupts and can destroy anyone and everyone.

Kung bakit may resurrection ang sex scenes sa social media at gay sites,  pwede na nating i-one plus one equals two hundred twenty four na with the boredom and sense of helplessness that majority of the fairies feel in particular, ang titillating distraction na ito is a most welcome respite sa mga nangyayari sa kasalukuyan.

In a way, ang husay nina Kokoy De Santos at Royce Cabrera ay dinala tayo sa isang sitwasyon na maaring pinapantasya ng nakakaraming bading at wala namang masama sa pantasya lalo na nga’t the hell we are living in right now, hindi madali pero lumalaban tayo, we will all be scarred because of this pero we are survivors in this game we call life.
