Our government has yet to find a solution to the Covid 19
virus even if we are more than 70s days now in lockdown. The Department of
Health has yet to conduct as wide-scale testing to find out who are asymptomatic
and also those who are already infected hence the need to have them segregated
or treated to prevent them from infecting others. Among the nations in Asia,
the Philippines is at the bottom in terms of addressing the pandemic.

Ronnie is an Army reservist and he is a frontliner |
But there are celebrities who are doing their own share of
helping the people affected by pandemic either by donating food, PPEs, even
tents (like what Angel Locsin did). For his part, singer Ronnie Liang is doing
his Army duty as a reservist. He is a frontliner.
Tulad ng majority ng mga Pilipino, apektado ng lockdown ang
trabaho at buhay ni Ronnie. Pero dahil mas marami siyang oras, nagkaroon siya ng
chance na mag-review ng kanyang script for a future film project, gayundin para
sa kanyang exam for his pilot course.
“But most of the time i am outside due to army duty Like
manning the check point, servicing our health/essential workers by driving them
to the hospitals or dropping point where they will work,” pahayag ni Ronnie via
Facebook messenger interview.
Nakatakda siyang mag-shoot ng dalawang pelikula – Harang (na
inspired ng Thai series na CLOY) at may supporting role siyang gagawin sa isang
Viva movie. He is also set to record a new album and do a concert series for
PAGCOR.
“Well, since I have no control with what is happening, the
best thing I could do is accept it, adapt and move on.”
Kaya kung sakaling may go signal na that everybody can go
back to work, ang plano ni Ronnie ay mag-shot agad ng pelikula (kung pwede na
talaga) at mag-record ng songs for his new album.

After the pandemic Ronnie is set to do a film for Viva Films |
Since nagsimula ang lockdown ay hindi na nakita ng singer
ang kanyang pamilya na nasa Pampanga kaya ang mga ito ang unang gusto niyang
makita kapag pwede na.
Ronnie also said he missed watching movies in the cinema
and his family that he can’t visit because of lockdown and his exposure to different
people due to his army duty. Besides, he was advised to undergo a 14-day
quarantine before he can visit his family in Pampanga.
“Being an army reservist who is serving the country, I want
to ask everyone to stay at home. We shall overcome. Lalabanan natin ang common
invisible enemy na ito,” he said in parting.
Last April 23, all army reservists underwent testing and
Ronnie was negative for Covid.
