Heart and Dingdong , May "Hayop" Experience

 During the GMA Affordabox blogcon, nag-share si Dingdong Dantes at Heart Evangelista ng lockdown stories nila about their kakaibang experience nila sa mga hayop sa bahay.

 Bagaman may kalakihan at nasa sosyal na subdivision which is Bel-Air ang bahay nina Dingdong at Marian ay may malaking daga na naeencounter si Dingdong sa bahay nila.

 "May mutual respect na kami, kasi dati talagang tinatalikuran ko siya," natutuwang kwento ng 'Descendants of the Sun' star. Kaya na daw niya makipagtitigan sa daga, yung tipong standoff ng several seconds. Pinakiusapan din daw niya itong huwag sirain ang mga sapatos niya.

Siguradong magiging busy starting this last week of June ang mga mahilig manood sa Netflix because maraming magandang palabas na available.

 Nangunguna na diyan ang 'It's Okay Not to Be Okay' na episode 1 pa lang eh beautiful and mysterious ang dating with its magic realism.

 Ang 'Yu Yu Hakusho' na kilala sa ating country as Ghost Fighter, at parte na rin ng childhood of many Batang 90's, ay kasama na din sa anime na available sa streaming giant. Speaking of animated stuff, ang 'A Whisker Away' na may Studio Ghibli feels is also a new animated feature na must-see and about ito sa girl na may crush kay boy and para mapalapit siya she will use a mask para maging cat.

 Sa mga nabitin sa mababaw na time travel ng katatapos recently na 'The King: Eternal Monarch' ay siguradong masasatisfy sa new season ng German science fiction thriller na 'Dark'.

 Sa mga gusto magtipid, may mobile option ang Netflix na sa mobile device ka lang pwede manood pero Php149 lang ang babayaran mo.

  

Kris Aquino: Nag-enjoy sa lockdown

 Kris Aquino will surely miss the serene island life as she is now back in her home in Quezon City with her sons, Josh and Bimb. Matatandaang inabutan ng lockdown nu’ng March 15, 2020 sa Puerto Galera sina Kris, Josh at Bimby habang nasa bakasyon sa resort ni Willie Revillame.

Minabuti ni Kris na lumipat sa ibang resort hotel dahil nahihiya umano siya kay Willie kahit sabihin pang good friends sila, ayaw daw niyang sabihing tini-take advantage ang kabaitan ng kaibigang game show host.

When Kris and her sons transferred to another resort, Willie made sure Kris was okay dahil nga bisita sila sa nasabing lugar. Willie had two of his staff, Chec and Randy, accompany Kris just to make sure they are comfy at may makakasama sila nina Josh at Bimby. Kris was just as happy to have been welcomed by the residents of Calapan and Puerto Galera island kaya in return nagpa-abot din ng tulong si Kristeta sa mga nawalan ng trabaho pati na sa kalapit bayan ng Calapan dahil sa lockdown.

During her stay in Puerto Galera, her health was not that stable kaya strictly monitored siya. Buti na lang merong nurse and doctor who regularly looks after her and checks on her. Maging si Bimby eh nagkasakit din doon, buti na lang maagap at maalaga si Kris at malaking tulong din na may katuwang siya sa paligid niya.

Sa totoo lang, na shock ang marami nu’ng makita ang mga posts ni Kris sa social media na naka-simpleng shirt at shorts lamang siya, na to most of the Filipino viewers is the epitome of class, the one who always dresses up in signature clothes and a woman of style. 

Pero nakakatuwang makita si Kris donned in a simple white shirt and hawaiian shorts na nabili daw nila from a store sa Calapan.

Josh also wore the same in their photo together. Hmmn, seems they have embraced not only the beauty of nature but also the simple joys of life.

 Back now in her Quezon City home, Kris is enjoying her time especially with Josh who just turned 25 years old last week. Mabuti na lang hindi na masyadong inallergy si Kris while they were traveling back home. Kris once again thanked the people who have been so helpful to them, who cooked for them while on lock down. In return, walang humpay naman ang pa-FB live ni Kristeta at nagsi-share ng blessings sa mga netizens. Bongga, di ba?

So, watch and wait na lang tayo kung ano ang mga ganap sa buhay ni Kris in the coming days. 

We may not get to see her on national TV but her star continues to radiate and her name continues to ring bells than those in the mainstream. Aminin! 


John Lloyd Cruz: Balik showbiz after the lockdown

 In a recent photo of John Lloyd Cruz, where he is seen in one of the gas station in Cebu City, he looks more relaxed than he first appeared with his beard and mustache in a commercial. Napakaganda ng ngiti at kahit na meron bigote ay mukhang malinis. Kaya ang isang crew ay nagselfie kasama siya. Pero tandaan na nakasocial distancing pa rin.

Ano nga ba nagpapaganda ng kanyang aura? Meron nga bang dahilan kung bakit ganito si John Lloyd ngayon? Kung maalala nyo before ay parang ang daming mga bagay at isyu na lumabas tungkol sa buhay nya at ng kanyang binuong pamilya. Hindi naman tago ang istorya kaya maraming kuru-kuro at intriga ang lumabas na hanggang sa ngayon ay walang buong kwento kung ano nga ba ang totoo.

Ganun pa man, ang makita si John Lloyd na gwapo at malinis ang mukha ay mas lalong nagpapataas ng pagkakataon na muling magtutuloy-tuloy ang kanyang pagbabalik sa industriya, at sa kanyang sarili marahil? Kaya nga lamang ay nagkaroon ng pandemic crisis, na nagbigay problema sa maraming industrya.

 So, ano nga ba ang dahilan baking parang blooming uli ang aura ni John Lloyd Cruz? 

 May bago na bang nagpapaganda ng kanyang aura? O dahil nagkaroon s’ya ng time sa sarili ngayon lockdown?

Rex Lantano for What Home feels Like





Newbie actor Rex Lantano considers it a big opportunity to have been the chance to work with seasoned actors Bembol Roco and Irma Adlawan in What Home Feels Like, an entry to the 2nd ToFarm Festival three years ago. It was his first major movie role.

 Rex is not exactly a tyro in acting as he has appeared in several TV dramas like MMK and teleseryes, and has acted opposite Cong. Vilma Santos-Recto in the award-winning film Ekstra.
It had been Rex’s dream to become an actor and he didn’t starting it out by doing small roles in TV shows and movies. He concedes he still has a lot to learn as an actor and has equipped himself by attending acting workshops to hone his craft

 “I enjoy acting a lot, especially here in What Home Feels Like. Direk Joseph Abella is open to suggestions so I really asked how he wants me to attack my role. I am very happy I had the chance to explore my role,” he said.

 Rex is in his senior year at the Far Eastern University where he is taking up Mass Communications. “I am willing to try different kinds of roles,” he said. “I want to be known as a versatile actor.”

At present he is revising and improving the script for a short film that he wrote and is directing as a requirement for graduation at the Far Eastern University where he is taking up BA in Communications.

 It’s about LOCKDOWN na nakuha ko that time sa isang balita from China. Ginawa ko ang setting is sa maliit na baryo sa ilocos, and boom! Eto nangyayari na rin talaga sa atin."

 Playing the lead in the film is Angeli Bayani. Noong time na kausap ni Rex si Ms. Angeli tungkol sa script ay tiyempo naman na nag-a-announce si Presidente Duterte ng total lockdown sa NCR.
“Sabi nga ni Ms, Angeli, nakakaloka ang nangyayari sa atin kasi katulad ito ng script na isinulat ko,”kwento ni Rex.

Hindi nga natuloy ang shoot nila sa Ilocos Sur last March 15 and 16 dahil sa lockdown. Pero sabi ni Rex na baka blessing in disguise ang nangyari. Nag-apply siya sa Online Scriptwriting Workshop ni Ricky Lee at siya ay natanggap.

 “Said opportunity will give me the chance to write a better script. I am sure marami akong matutunan sa workshop.”

 Bukod sa di natuloy ang shoot niya sa Ilocos Sur, na reschedule din ang taping niya for Maalaala Mo Kaya

 Dahlil sa lockdown, Rex was able to spend more time with this family. Pero once the lockdown is lifted, babalik siya sa dorm to prepare for graduation unless the Commission on Higher Education decides to extend the school year.

How has this lockdown affected you in a major way?

 “Na i-appreciate lahat ng bagay. Dahil pwede pala talagang mangyari ito. Kayang bawiin ang lahat sa iyo sa isang iglap lang,” said Rex.
